My Intellichef microwave model #K0936 has stopped working. I've tried different outlets but the microwave is not responding. Is there an internal fuse that has blown or is the microwave dead?

If the fuse is blown the microwave will be "dead". The fuse is accessed by removing the cover. You can usually find the fuse by following the power cord into the microwave. Unplug the microwave and don't touch anything except the fuse as the capacitor can hold an electrical charge.

WHY MICROWAVE OVEN IS DEAD ,2000 MODEL bajaj

there could be many reasons for your microwave to be dead. First did you check if it has power coming to it? Is the plug out of the socket? Sometimes the power plug is behind the microwave and it is hard to see unless you slide it out and look. When you say dead, is the display light up? If so does it indicate PF (Power Failure)

Sometimes the internal fuse blows out because of a short, usually caused by the diodes being shorted or even the transformer or the magnatron tube itself. If you have any of these problems except for the fuse then I would recommend that you replace the microwave with a new one because yours probably wouldn't pay to fix.

Good luck,

Marty

No power to oven; checked power to outlet and I do have power; looked for reset button but did not find one

If it is completely dead, check the main fuse, which is likely a AGC ceramic type. If dead, you can buy from Electronix: http://www.electronix.com/ and click microwave in the left column. Good luck with it.

NN-T964SF 1250 Watts Microwave Oven: my microwave went dead and wouldn't turn on at all...

Sounds like a blown fuse. Carefully remove the cover, and the fuse in directly behind the power cord on the top. Radioshack sells 15A ceramic replacements.

Microwave has no power mmv4205aas was working just fine and then just stoped

This is most likely a dead magnetron (microwave production) or a dead transformer.
These are the most expensive bits of a microwave, so unless it is of sentimental value, a new unit is actually cheaper than a professional repair.

Microwave jsut went dead. No power, and there is power at the outlet.

check the fuse inside, watch out with those can capacitors as they can give you a nasty shock. For your protection unplug the microwave and wait 24 hours to let the capacitors discharge, then open and find fuse which is usually near the power supply, check fuse, if dead replace it.
