Under Windows XP/Vista/7, open the folder containing the files.
Hold down the CTRL key, and "click" on each file that you want to select. When finishing "clicking", release the CTRL key.
Right-mouse click on one of the selected files.
Point to 'Send To'.
Another menu will open -- click on the CD-RW drive.
Follow the prompts to complete the "burning" process.

I have a super multi GP10 and I don't know how to burn music from my iTunes with it. I can't install the software.

open Itunes in the top left hand corner select file from thdrop down list you will see Library click to open then you should see back up to disk then more options back up entire library to disk
this might be because you have not selected the option to burn an audio cd or your burning software does not support audio burning
there are plenty of free burning software programs on the internet

I have had to replace my hard drive on my pc how can i get my music back on to pc from my ipod and back into i tunes

Backing up your iTunes library to a CD or DVD To burn a CD (CD-R or CD-RW), your computer must have a compatible CD burner. To burn a DVD (DVD-R or DVD-RW), your computer must have a compatible DVD burner. Check in iTunes Preferences to see if a drive is compatible. See below for steps.
To create your backup disc
  1. Choose File > Library > Back up to Disc.
  2. Select the option you want from the resulting dialog and click Back Up.
  3. The two options you can select from are:
    • Back up entire iTunes library and playlists
    • Back up only iTunes Store purchases
Whichever of these two options you choose, note that you can also choose "Only back up items added or changed since last backup" to perform an incremental backup.
  4. Insert a blank disc (CD or DVD) into your computer's optical drive. iTunes will scan the disc and begin burning.
  5. Note: If the disc you insert does not have enough space to hold all of the content you will be backing up, a dialog will appear asking whether you wish to backup to multiple discs. You can click Data Discs to continue.
iTunes burns the number of items that fit on one disc and then asks you to insert subsequent discs to continue burning the remaining files. Don't eject a disc while a backup is in progress.
Spoken programs purchased from the Audible.com website are not backed up.
Discs you create using the iTunes backup feature can be used only to restore; they can't be played in a CD or DVD player.

Restoring from a backup disc
  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Insert your backup disc.
  3. iTunes will ask whether you want to restore from this disc. Click Restore.
Check drive compatibility
  1. Choose a playlist on the left side of the iTunes window.
  2. Click the Burn Disc button on the bottom right corner of iTunes.
  3. If the drive is listed, it's compatible.

Cd burner

You'll need to make sure CD/DVD allows for burning and not just playback. If you know the make and model of your CD/DVD burner google it to make sure it has that option. If you don't know it then click on Start>All Programs>accessories>system tools>system information and look for CD/DVD. Or send me the make and model and I'll check it out for you. First we have to make sure you have the option before we can troubleshoot, not all DVD players allow you to burn them, some just allow playback.

Don't forget to rate this solution.

P;ease help me. i use real player to burn cds. ive never burt a dvd. but i want to use it now and my player keeps telling me my cd and dvd burners are not detected. why are they not working please help me.

burning and cd requires a cd burner... the fact that you burn cds does not necessarily mean that you can also burn dvd's.. to burn a dvd you need to have a dvd burner unit installed. check on tray that comes out on you cd/burner if it says RW DVD.. if not chances are you only have a cd burner but is not a dvd burner.

Want to be able to burn cd's so i can hear music on any cd player. right now media player only burns for mp3.

Well, go search on how to get Media Player to burn other formats you're interested in, or download another free burner program (see VersionTracker.com to search, for example) which is amenable to burning .FLAC or .ape or such.

Don't go crazy running the iPod revolution backwards creating vast CD libraries out of a svelte 40GB audio player full of music....
