Question about Nokia Cell Phones
Hi, to me it sounds like the problem is with the phones firmware, you may be able to get this wiped and re-installed at a phone shop for a small fee, doing this will wipe everything on the phone such as numbers, ringtones, messsages, pictures etc
you can get the info off the phone if you have a cable from your phone to usb port on computer then all you need to do is download nokia pc suite and connect the phone, once you have done this and connected the phone you will be able to access the info stored on your phone and you can then back it up on your pc until you either get the phone fixed or get another nokia
hope that gives you a good idea of the way to save your data, all you need to do is get a nokia data cable for your phone, you can get one from the well known auction site for next to nothing.
nokia pc suite is free to download just go to google search page and type in free nokia pc suite then hit search this will then list loads of sites that will let you download the nokia pc suite for free and you can then back up everything on your phone to your pc
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
