Question about Activision Video Game Consoles & Games

Open Question

I start the game "Battlezone 2" on my XP system, and it runs fine. However, when I try to enter a pilot name, it doesn't take. I type the name, hit enter, and the name erases itself. I can't play the game at all despite the fact that it installed just fine, and there aren't any error messages. On my other computer (which also runs XP), the game works just fine. What is the problem here?

Is it an older game? Just for fun you could try Windows 98 compatibility mode. Right click whatever icon you use to launch the game, click the Compatibility tab up top. Then click the checkbox "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" try Windows 98. Secondly, you should uninstall the game, reboot, reinstall the game.
