Are you sure you are using the right protocol in aqccordance with the information from your provider.. WEP or WPA-PSK?" and the right number to open the gateway?

If the newtwok drops out, sometimes this information is lost and has to be reinserted. If you uninstall linksys and remove the usb and then reinsert it, does it flash and become discovered?
Also make sure you have set up wireless network in XP

If a wrong protocol is inserted Linksys will often report.. Connected to the Network But internet gateway not found... If you get that message then ewither your protocls are incorrect or you have not set up the network correctly. your ISP should be able to guide you through this by phone support.

Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

The hard drive in my Astone AP360-T PVR (THIS IS NOT A COMPUTER) is no longer recognized. Has been working for years now it's as if it no longer exists. What can I do if anything?

Usually if a harddrive is suddenly no longer showing and has been running for years it has reached the end of its lifetime. You can check whether this has happened:
In case you have access to a computer or laptop you could take the harddrive out of the AP360-T PVR and connect it to the computer instead. (This can be done either with a SATA-2-USB adapter or directly to the onboard SATA controller.) If the computer recognizes the harddrive the problem lies with the AP360-T PVR. In case the drive does not get recognized it has died and needs to be replaced.

My magicjack is not detecting my Internet connection. It used to work fine and all of a sudden it can't see my Internet connection. my Internet connection is fine otherwise I wouldn't be able to type this...

Have you installed anything recently? if so go back and see if you can uninstall them.. you also could uninstall the majicjack software and see if that works.. also if you have installed nero that can mess with it, it did for me anyway. And if all else fails go through the majic jack support it's a pain to find but they are great.

Can't connect to internet

We can try to isolate whether it's a problem with IE by having you download and install Mozilla Firefox and seeing if it allows you to browse the web.

You may want to check your connection settings in Internet Explorer - Tools + Internet Options + Connections. If you had any dialup settings or anything in there previously you should disable them. The other thing you can try is running the network setup wizard and telling the machine that you connect directly thru a network hub.

Report your results back here.

Very slow, or no connection to internet, on wired computer, not wireless one

Yes, it would be best to reconfigure it. Try the following but note.. resetting the router will erase all previously given settings.

First, reset the router - when the unit is on, press the reset button (using a paper clip) for 20 seconds then let go of the button. Once the WLAN light is solid, it means that router has rebooted.

Go to a computer wired to the router and open Internet Explorer, enter on the address bar. Enter admin for the username and leave the password blank.

Once you're in the Dlink page, this is where you can configure your Internet and Wireless settings again. Just run through the setup process (as if you just got the device out it's box).

My computer experience errors, suddenly hangs up, freezes whenever i do video calls..

This may not be with the computer, it could be with your internet provider. If you have a bad or unstable internet connection, then a minor glitch or quick loss of connectivity will cause you to lose the call, even if the glitch is almost unnoticeable. If connected wirelessly, then try a cable and hardwire directly to the net, a wireless glitch could do the same.
