Question about Canon MultiPASS MP730 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Printer will not print. I bought a new cable and that didn't work. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled still didn't work.

The driver is installed? you installed the software before ever plugging the printer into the pc right? right click on my computer then go to manage then services & apps then services and see if the printer services are running and the print spooler

I have hp deskjet 1000 printer. when i replace blk/white cartidge the printing work didn,t complette. somebody tell me check your printer nozzle and clean it . but i didn,t find the nozzle button anywhere....


In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer ONLY WHEN PROMPTED, to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken.

My new lexmark 1200 is connected to my pc and electric the ink cartridges are in correctly but it will not print paper runs through fine but comes out blank


Make sure that the printer is properly installed on your computer that's teh first thing you need to do, if its installed properly try to do a test print using the printer utility and see if it will work..
You can also turn the power and turn it back on and try tp do a test print agin ...dont forget to check the connection

My hpc5580 has a print cartridges problem. it says that my new/genuine hp black cartridge is not intende for use in this printer. i tried to remove and re-place but it didn't work. tried so many times...

Hi,

Have you checked if the printer cable is connected properly ?

there are 2 possible causes for this error to pop up.

1st : The software you are using to print, has not selected the printer as default.
you can disconnected the usb cable and re-connect. If this does not work, Try and check if you can print from any other application like word, excel or notepad.

2nd : The Printer drivers are deleted and you may need to reinstall the software/drivers
Uninstall and reinstall the software and it should work.

Or Finally 3rd solution is you can just turn off the printer and PC and turn on and try to print

Since you try to uninstall and reinstall the printer software, do you set up again the printer and try to print again the test page.

Most printer if it is not responding is it due to connection error like cable set up, port driver set up or the configuration of the printer or the print spooler had stop.

Please try hard reset of the printer.

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Open the top cover of the printer and remove the print cartridges.
  3. Close the top cover of the printer.
  4. Press the power button on the printer to turn the printer off.
  5. Disconnect the communications, (USB or Parallel), cable from the back of the printer.
  6. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer for one minute.
  7. Reconnect the communications cable to the printer.
  8. Reconnect the power cable to the printer.
  9. Press the printer power button to turn the printer on.
  10. Open the top cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
  11. Close the top cover and print the calibration page.
  12. Restart the computer.

Normally to fix a printer that is printing gibberish, uninstalling and reinstalling the print drivers will fix this issue. Another thing that can contribute to gibberish print is using a USB cable that is too long.

With this particular problem (prints Zen), one solve is to uninstall any Dell toner management software. This is particularly true if you are running Vista and hooked up by USB. To uninstall the toner management software (Vista OS), go to control panel>programs>programs and feature>uninstall a program. From this list choose Dell software, choose a customized uninstall, and then choose anything that has to do with Dell toner management.

I'm assuming you went to the HP site and downloaded the Vista drivers??? Other than that try this:

  1. From Control Panel > printers... uninstall all printers.
  2. Unplug USB cable to printer and re-boot.
  3. Install Software.
  4. Plug USB cable back in.

Printer not installing correctly


Yes, and install software with printer diconnected fro pc untill new software instal instructs to connect

Also ensure you have not just print drivers but scanning software they are different things that both need to be installed to enable scanning
