Both are BS answers. The original poster asked about "apps and data", NOT "music, pictures, etc". Try reading the question before giving a $tupid answer.

I dont know how to move media from microSD to internal storage for motorola i1, basically I have 59mb on a SD card and the phone's internal storage has 258mb, I WANT to move all photos & MUSIC...

First, I need to educate you - and then caution you - about what you are attempting to do.

Let me start off by telling you that you are correct: your phone has 230 mb for internal storage. However, when Motorola manufactured the i1, they installed a 600MHz Freescale ARM 11 Processor. This processor can handle up to a 32 GB capacity micro SD memory card. This is a large capacity card and there's a reason for it.

Specifically, the processor in your phone also requires a large portion of your internal memory to be free - so it can run / perform as fast as it can. With your internal memory full, your processor will slow WAY down, and will become susceptible to freeze-ups.

As such, your phone pretty much requires you to use a PC to transfer files both, to and from your memory card. This is actually to keep you from constantly getting a Low Memory message from your internal memory being full. And, with only 230 mb of memory (which isn't much) it wouldn't take long to fill it up - and slow the processor in your phone down - with photo's and music.

To be sure, in your phone's manual on page 36 it reads: "Your music is stored on your memory card. Your phone supports removable microSD memory cards up to 32 GB capacity."
This is Motorola's way of telling you to ONLY use your memory card to store music and not your phone's internal memory.

Moreover, on page 42 of your phone's manual it reads: "You can transfer your pictures, videos, music, ringtones, and more, from your computer to your phone's memory card." Again, Motorola point is to tell its i1 customers to use their memory card and not their internal memory for storage.

I'm telling you this for a reason. Working here at FixYa, I receive request every day for assistance when a person's phone freezes up. It is almost always because they were using their phones internal memory for storage and got it too full.

You really should use a computer to transfer files both, to and from your phone's memory card and keep as much of your phones internal memory as free as possible.

Here's a link to an online manual for your phone if you would like to review the pages I've talked about. And, I hope you follow my advise.

I cant get music to transfer to my LG 8575 samba

Hello,

Music can be transferred to this phone using a USB cable or through Bluetooth. To transfer your song using USB cable,
  1. You will have to connect your phone to a computer,
  2. Be sure to have the USB cable of your phone, then you connect it to the computer,
  3. Then you click on open file to view folder as soon as the Auto play comes up on the screen of your computer,
  4. That way a page will open with the files on your phone,
  5. Go to the music you want to transfer to the phone, then you right click on it and copy the music,
  6. Go to the page where you have your music and paste it there,
  7. That way your music will be on the phone.
To transfer through Bluetooth, ensure the phone you are trying to transfer music from has bluetooth on it. Ensure the bluetooth is on, then you follow the steps below:
  1. Go to your phones menu,
  2. Select the settings, and turn on your bluetooth from there,
  3. Then you go to the phone you want to transfer the song from,
  4. Select send via bluetooth,
  5. It will search for the available bluetooth that is turned on,
  6. Once it finds yours, select it and the music will attempt to be sent to your phone,
  7. Accept it on your LG phone, then a page will load,
  8. That way the music will be sent to your phone.
Be sure that your phone has a large memory that can receive the file, be sure also that the musics size is not larger that 7mb, if not, it might not load on your phone and says memory full. If your phone allows memory card, the moment you transfer the music to your phone, then you browse it out from your multimedia and transfer it to your memory card, to avoid the memory full error from coming up.

Hope this was helpful. Thank You for using FixYa!!

MY PHONE IS SAYING MEMORY FULL AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

It means that theres no enough disk space on your phone. If your phone does have memory card then you can transfer some files from your phone to the memory card e.g. pictures, musics.
If your phone does not support memory card then you have to delete some messages or entries that you no longer need ir simply format your phone but make sure you back up your contacts and some info that you cant afford to lose

hope this help

Cant transfer music files from card to phone or find them.

I had the same problem and realised that you have to copy the file from the music section on your external memory to the sounds section. Firstly I sent an album to my memory card via windows media player and it went to the music section. My phone recongnised it was there on the external memory but not when I tried to play it through the mp3. I read an earlier message and it mentioned that the music needs to go into the sounds file so I copied it to that file and hey presto, I have music on my external memory that actually plays lol

Saving text messages from v365

You can save the text messages into the computer using the software from Motorola.
Motorola Phone Tools allow you to transfer all the information between the cellphone and the computer.
You can get it from store.motorola.com
Also remmber that you are not gonna be able to save text messages or contacts information in a memory card.
The memory card allow you to transfer just Multimedia stuff as music pictures or videos.
Good luck
