Most common causes are moisture in the paper or the grain of the paper. Turn paper in the tray over and try a print/copy and see if it flattens out. Can try rotating it as well. If this does not help then try a fresh unopened package of paper.
If neither of these work then you could have a pressure roller in the fuser getting soft. But this is un-common.

It curls all my cardstock!

You will get alittle curl on all prints with this unit, as the paper path is curled ** paper collected from the bottom tray will travel in a semi circle to exit the unit** but if the curl is excessive then it is possible the card stock is just alittle too think for the unit or the card stock is damp, if you are in a humid location its best to store you paper and cards in a dehumidifier box

Paper jam

You are receiving this error message because there is a paper jam or the top (photo) tray is not securely in position and the printer cannot initialize. This error message can appear for an ESP 7, ESP 9, ESP 7250, or ESP 9250 all-in-one printer.
To resolve a paper jam, we have an easy Step-by-Step Solutions and Repair tool. Within the tool, select All-in-one printer, then Paper jam.

When you clear the paper jam:
  1. Make sure you open the paper output tray and inspect the top tray for photo paper that could be jammed inside or that remains in the nip at the entrance.
  2. Pull out the bottom paper tray and clear any paper jams.
  3. Remove the duplexer from the back of the printer and clear any paper jam.
NOTE: Curled photo paper could induce a paper jam. To prevent curling:
  • Store un-printed paper in a tightly closed plastic bag or in its original packaging.
  • Store sealed packages of paper flat, and not on
  • When you are ready to print, take only the paper intend to use immediately.
To remove curl in photo paper:
  1. Place the paper in a plastic bag or in its original packaging.
  2. Gently bend the paper in the opposite direction of the curl, then insert it into a tube-a paper towel tube works well.

NOTE: The tube should be larger than 1.5 in. (4 cm) in diameter.
  3. After a few minutes, remove the paper from the tube.
  4. Remove the paper from the plastic bag or packaging.
  5. Verify that the curl has been removed from the paper. Repeat the steps above if necessary.
If the top paper tray is not securely in position and the printer cannot initialize (you may hear a grinding noise, and the top paper tray will not open), contact Kodak.

WILL FEED PLAIN WHITE PAPER BUT WILL NOT FEED PHOTO PAPER

Follow the steps:
•1
Turn on the printer and press the Paper Feed switch until the Auto Sheet Feeder indicator light turns on.
•2
Pull up on the paper sheet feeder on the top and back of the printer and slide out the paper support.
•3
Take a stack of no more than 10 pieces of photo paper and flatten the corners, if they are curled. Curled corners may cause jams within the printer.
•4
Place the paper in the paper sheet feeder with the printable side of the paper facing up. The printable side of photo paper is the shiny or whiter side of the paper.
•5
Print your documents as needed.

Paper Cassette :

•1
Switch on the printer and press the Paper Feed switch until the Cassette indicator light turns on.
•2
Pull on the cassette on the bottom of the printer to slide it out of the printer.
•3
Flatten the corners of a stack of no more than 10 sheets of photo paper if the corners are curled. The paper may become jammed in the printer if the corners are curled.
•4
Place the stack of paper in the cassette so the paper is touching the right side and the printing side of the paper is facing down. Adjust the plastic paper guides so they touch the paper. The paper stack guides help facilitate the paper moving into the printer.
•5
Slide the cassette back into the bottom of the printer. The printer is ready for printing.

Paper keeps curling up...

Hi,
Sometimes the reason for the paper to curl up is that the paper has a lot of moisture thus when it passes thru the fuser it causes the paper to curl up. What you can do is try a different paper brand. Also make sure that your paper is configured correctly in the printer. Paper settings should match the type of paper you are printing or it will apply too much heat or too little heat that will have different effects on the paper output. You can find out how to set the paper settings on your user's guide or here is the link to it if you need it.

Paper curl

Paper Curl. Does the paper have a curl on the trail edge? (The last part of the paper to exit the printer)

If it is the entire paper replacement of the fuser will likely resolve this.
If the paper curl is on the trail edge then replacement of the upper delivery roller should be done.

Media curls on lead and trailing edges

Any of the following:-

Ensure the correct paper weight settings are in use. Excesive heat will cause paper curl.
Feed paper short edge first.
This is normal with high ink coverage on light paper. Use a heavier weight paper.
Your fuser may need replacing.

Curled corner causing a paper jam

Try replacing all paper. Sometimes paper that is overly humid or has gotten wet will curl. Replace with new paper and report results.
