Question about Husqvarna Viking 1
Replacement parts for such an old device are no longer produced - , heck, i don't even believe that the repair guys from your local store know how your machine looks like, let alone how to fix it.
I know because my grandmother owns one and the only replacement parts for it were found on other junked machines that i picked on the street.
My advice - search thru Craiglist (and similar sites) for a machine sold as such and buy it cheaply for parts.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
