If the motor stops running after it heats up most likely the overload is poping on the motor, when the motor cools down it will run again, you need to change out the motor

try running the dryer with no heat, that way it's just the motor that's working, when it shuts down check with a meter to see if you're getting power to the motor,if you are then you know the motor is bad,if no power you could have a problem with the board,

SOURCE: dryer starts then shuts off

it seem like your motor could be faulty (overheating) causing the thermal overload to open, stopping the motor after awhile it will cool down and the thermal will reset, if this the case the bearings or the windings could be faulty

The dryer runs for a few minutes then shuts off and restarts in a few more minutes8xcccxb2

Sounds like your motor is getting hot, shutting down to cool off and coming back on. This is a motor that will have to be replaced. On some models the only other thing is could be would be the thermal link that is usually located on the back of the dryer. This would definitely be the cheaper part to replace. If possible, jumper around this thermal link, if it still does the same thing you will more than likely have to replace the motor. Good luck I hope this helps.

have you cleaned the filters on it. it might be the thermostat if you have. or checked the outlet pipe for excess fluff.

Dryer shuts off and won't restart until it cools off

more likely a bad motor ..excessive lint build up in dryer will reduce air flow through motor causing it to overheat problem is by the time the lint problem is found and corrected motor is already gone

based from your story, you are tiggering a thermal overheat protection device. as the device heats up, it would trip off the dryer, and comes back on again after a few minutes but as the heat increases, the device is being triggered faster until the device would no longer trips back because the dyer is so hot that it would take about 10 mins to cool down. i think this is just a secondary problem, your primary problem could be lack of air passing through the heating element. please check the stroller blade for dirt of flint and debri, check also the outlet duct, it could be clogged with flint also. i hope i was able to solve your problem.
