Pixma MX700 Install cause IE problems

I have loaded the Pixma MX700 software on two Windows XP machines on my house and now both boxs have internet explorer issues. After a while, and especially if you have more than 1 explorer window open, IE just freezes and the windows says "Not Responding". VERY FRUSTRATING! On one box I have unloaded all the MX700 and still does not help. I reloaded the software and it still doesn't help!

Any ideas?

Canon MX700 does not respond when even 1 window is open on my WindowsXP program. I'm getting frustrated and angry as this is a relatively new printer less than 4 months of use now it won't respond. I'm getting tired of this. I use Firefox and now can't print my downloaded patterns! If no window open it doesn't know what to print and if a window is open it says "printer not responding". I sure hope for some help as copying by hand 15 pages of information is not reasonable and I can't just send it elsewhere to get printed. Thanks in advance for any help on this....

My email in outlook freezes up and takes a long time to appear. It causes the same issue in Explorer. I told Canon techs and "Donald" was unaware of the issue but was researching.

The computer doesn't reconize that the printer is there. why I have no idea I follow everything to a t. I mean we've done it four times now, Hubby and I. and still nothing.

Suggest a new solution for this problem
