This message is seen when an attempt to login has failed multiple time. As a security measure, your account has been locked to prevent unauthorized users from being able to log in to it. clean up ur internet history, repair ur ie, use other browser, clean up registry run reginout cleaner it will help u

Actually the problem is with Yahoo, but let me explain why this happened and how to get it back. There's no possible alternatives for you to access your account currently. You have to wait at least 24 hours, this happens when someone or the user attempts to login with wrong password or wrong username several times. Will be able to access after 24 hours, even writing to yahoo support will not helpful since their response takes at least 48 hours which is longer than the time you are gonna wait.

If you want this to be faster, your only option is to wait for 24 hours without any attempt otherwise, it'll reset to 24 hours even if you attempt to login after 20 hours and you'll need to wait another 24 hours and so on, this is not controlled by man, but it's controlled by software.

If in case someone is playing with your account, there'd be problem, suppose if someone tries to login while you are waiting for the 24 hours to get passed, same thing will happen again. Yahoo will not be able to recognize since these things are monitored on the server.

You can try writing to the Yahoo about your problem using this contact form.. Sign-in and Registration help form and all fields without "(optional)" are compulsory.

Too many login tries with wrong password on one ID causes lock the ID. This is a security lock for your Yahoo! ID. If you know the correct password you can unlock it by opening http://www.yahoo.com/r/m6 or http://mail.yahoo.com, for the first time type your ID correctly and type any password(if password is wrong no problem), click Sign In . in reply the same page will appear again... this time type your ID and password correctly, type the captcha verification code correctly as shown in image box and click Sign In. if your password is right your ID will be unlocked.

hello , unfortunately ur account has been blocked by urself.. generally due to security reasons yahoo will block the accounts who retreive their password wrongly... like u have to answer the security questin...dont panic ... write a mail to yahoo regarding your problem..mentioning ecah and every details that u gave at the time of yahoo account setup ... definiely u will get back ur yahoo account..

1.Try the new password with Caps lock, maybe you insert new password with Caps lock ON! 2.Try new passsword with other browsers or other systems!

Sometimes this event happen for users, the source of problem may comes from your browser or maybe from yahoo server,nearly you have no way to take it back except use "Forget password" and so you should remember your birthday,postal code,alternative mail that before this you used to register. But if you can't remember them, I suggest you to call with yahoo security account by 1-408-349-1572 or send mail to account-security-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com You should explain all events for them, maybe they could help you and maybe they return your mail address. One of my friends could do that and he could give it back!
