It might be because your cd is not good at the end that's why it fails at the final stage to copy the cd..try using the nero software and when it open use copy cd option and when it ask for burning select image recorder......so when it copies the cd you will get information whether cd will be get copy or not..,

I have several files on the computer which I would like to move to a CD....i.e. pictures, or documents. I am doing something wrong because it does not allow me to copy a file to a CD???? probably my lack...

You have to burn the files to a CD, if you have Windows XP or Vista it should do this for you, the reason you are getting the error is because unlike the hard drive, the CD is not a read / write device (ie once you copy files there they are there forever, unless you are using a re-recordable cd)
You must have a CD drive that is capable of recording data, this will be a CDRW or a DVDRW drive, most computers now have these, but if yours is only a DVDRom or a CDROM, you will not be able to copy.

To burn files to disc, Put a CD in the drive
Then get all the files you want to copy and put them in a folder (saves time)
Now click on the CD drive icon in MY computer (right click and open)
Drag the contents of the folder you created onto the cd drive which you have opened
You may get asked to format the disc, this is normal (prepare the disc)
You will then see the files you have added (says "files ready to be burned to disc")
Right mouse click on the empty space in the area where the files have been added and a menu will come up, with the command "burn to disc"
Once complete the disc will eject and you need to press finish

You can add about 700MB of files onto each CD

Hi There Ive Got A lenovo l-nc51m motherboard running on windows 7. It Shows Audio is installed but when i click on the volume icon it says no audio output device installe . could this be hardware related...

This is a hardware driver problem.
The final version of Windows 7 has not been released yet, you most likely have the RC copy of Windows 7 (ie Release Candidate - final beta version just before official release) the RC is available to anyone to download and test.
The problem is that not all device drivers are avaiable and if you cannot get a Windows 7 version audio driver from the manufacturer's WEB site at this stage, you have to wait until it is available.

Final Cut Studio Install disc Scratched

I think your out of luck from a legitimate standpoint. If you wanted to go the pirate route you could download a copy from the Web. You would need three items. 1) you would download a Torrent client and install. 2) You would need a torrent file. 3) You would Google the following words "Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Studio 2." Once you have your Google results then you would click on a link and DL your torrent file. Use the torrent client to open your torrent file and start DL'ing.

1) Try to make a copy doing an "IMAGE DISK"

2) If you couldn't:

You can download all your drivers for your desktop computer
without a Restore Disk. (But You will need a copy of OS)

HOW DO YOU CREATE A CD OR COPY A CD

Click on my computer, then insert a blank disc into the writer hard drive. Then put things you want to burn on the disc. Then burn the things on the disc. And if you have a disc copying program, Insert a blank disc into the writer drive and insert the disc you want to copy and then copy the cd.
