I have a Diplomat APM 8702 integrated washer / dryer, it has decided to stop working! its been great but does get used alot, the electrics come on, ive checked all the connections inside the machine made sure the filter and hoses are clear. I was hoping there may be a common problem with this model or maybe its just a case of the motor has blown; how can you tell, with out laying out loads of money on an engineer to tell me its knackered...?

Hello, same thing happened to me, i changed the circuit board thing in the bottom corner and it then worked fine. Really simple operation. I bought the part off the internet somewhere.

I have one of these machines. I don't know whether this will be of any help but I had issues of the machine not activating a final spin and the clothes being left sodden once the cycle had finished. The engineer replaced the PCB module at the rear of the unit which fixed the problem. If your APM 8702 is not even starting I'd guess its a motor problem and time for an expensive repair or new washing machine.
