I've connected my airport extreme by ethernet to my modemrouter Thomson TG585 V7 in bridge mode, as soon as i connect a speedtest on either machine drops by half, disconnect the airport and the tomson doubles...

use your airport utility, it will guide you thour the setuo, remember, gate way or bridge. you need both, but you need to choice witch one.

Default is Username = Adminstrator; Password is blank.

1. Please ensure your wireless connection is switched ON
2. Your wireless router should be working in bridge mode.
3. Connect the ethernet port of the wireless Router to the Modem and then try accessing.

what u need to do is go to the interface of ur thomson speed touch through writing the ip address of that modem on the address bar of ur internet browser then go in that setup....Choose router instead of bridge.

what is bsnl broadband if you have thomson to acsess the setup and all it freater just type speedtouch.lan in your browser this may help you

First, try adding a wireless card to the Xbox, run the wireless off of the router OR if you have multiple connections (broadband, should be an "In" port, and several "Out" ports) Try connecting your PC and you Xbox through the "Out" ports, with the cable modem cord hooked into the "In" port...

just one answer frimware filure did you skip or try to frimware you self with lan cable

OK, do you have the latest version of Apple's Airport Utility: Version 5.4.1 (541.9) ?
If you don't, get it... it's got an excellent interface that will walk you through bridging two wireless routers together.
Once you get your hands on it, you will need to choose which airport will be the primary and which will be the secondary. Ideally, pick the one connected to the highest speed and most reliable internet access.
Connect to the secondary airport and configure it as bridge to the primary, the Airport Utility will walk you through it step by step.
