Question about Fossil JR8122 Wrist Watch

I have a jr 8122 and I had the watch battery changed and the people told me that they could fix the digital part but the actual hands were not going around and said that I needed to send it in. Can you let me know my options?

This happens a lot the watch you have has to separate batteries both batteries were probably old. they tried replacing both but the movement on the analog part is probably corroded or rusty.

Need owners manual for fossil Big Tic Blue JR 8624

Inside the case back on my JR-7855 is a label with the steps to take to change the batteries. The sticker says to short the pad marked "S1" with the pad marked "+". Keep doing it quickly, then check the watch facelb_icon1.png. You got it right when the seconds start to change on the face.

How do change the date on my citizen divers watch

Hi,

Hope this will helped you fixing the time of your Citezen divers watch. Just foolow the instruction below.

Change your Citizen watch's time zone without actually moving the clock hands. On the digital display, change the city that displays on the watch, which sets the time to the different time zone. The Citizen also has a calendar, timer, chronograph and LED lights. Since it is an Eco Drive watch, it is solar powered so you never have to replace the batteries unless its backup power source dies.
Difficulty: Easy Instructions

  1. Pull the setting knob (crown) out one "tick" for setting mode.

  2. Set the mode hand to "WT-S."

  3. Pull the crown out one more "tick."

  4. Press the top button on the right side of the watch for the city setting mode.

  5. Press the lower button on the right side to "SET" the city.

  6. Turn the crown to select a different city, which changes the time zone.

  7. Push the crown all the way back in to finish setting the time.

Thank you for using Fixya.

Watch hands don't coincide with the digital time. The watch hands are about 40 minutes ahead of the digital time. When I go to set the watch, the watch hands move with the digital time, however they...

This usually occurs when the battery is changed. There should be a process for synchronising the two times detailed in the manual.

To get a manual you go to "http://tissot.ch/" and on the black menu bar at the bottom of the page you will see "product support". Click on this and you will go to a page of instructions. Download yours and find the relevant method for putting your watch right.

Fix the hands correct with the dejital

Sometimes a watch will be off center due to shock, dead battery etc. Symptoms are;
hands don’t line up, digital and analog time doesn’t match, Compass function doesn’t
have the hands exactly opposite etc. This can all be fixed. The Synchronization
function can be used:
1. Activate Crystal
2. Tap center until you are the unit’s screen (12h or 24h, F ft or C m).
3. Push and hold (at least five seconds) the center crown
4. Watch will beep and word (SYNCHRO) will appear in the display.
5. Use the top + button to line up the minute hand right on the 12.
6. Use the bottom – button to line up the hour hand right on the 12.
7. When finished, press crown and you will go back to time.

As it turned out these Mossimo ANA/DIGI watches use two different batteries, one for the digital part (big) and other for the analog mechanism (small).

Have the watch serviced to change the second battery and VOILA!!!!
