Our ADSL 5102G : Our internet is very slow and keeps kicking us out. We then unplug the ADSL, wait a few seconds and go back in - only to be kicked out again after ten minutes or so. What must we do to solve this problem?

Hi Sloan!

Go here and select your Tendnet version from the list. Click on the version. Read the instructions carefully, some updates have to be installe before others. Get up to the latest one, from 10.2007. Should fix your problem.

Why do i keep get kicked off my pogo games

Do you have a slow internet connection? or perhaps another person in the house that is sucking up all the bandwidth?

Pogo games continuously "chat" back and forth to the server, and delay in this conversation may cause a disconnect.

Adsl link does not become stable, it shows blinking orange light

Reading the manual Troubleshooting section it looks like your adsl connection is not working. Try unplugging your internet provider's equipment power supply and waiting 10 to 15 seconds. Then plug it back in.If this doesn't work contact your ISP.

I have a Frigidaire freezer LFFU1424DW not freezing. Came home to melting ice and thawed food. I heard clicking noise like a fan but goes off after a few seconds. Help please.

first of all unplug that freezer and wait for 15 mins. move it five feet from the wall. after 15mins, plug it back and kick in compressor at the same time!!!! remember plug and kick at the same time. the ckicking noise come from the starting relais. this says that the compressor has a problem. If it doesn't work ; you will have to call a service person who will replace the compressor for you.

My refrigerator keep tring to kick on but acts like it can't. I unplug it and wait a few seconds then plug it back in and it works fine.

Hi!
That is probably the compressor relay
The relay is on the compressor and needs replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay

Thank you for using fixya

My wife yanked the phone line from the wall and thats when my 2 wire DSL gateway model 2701HG-B modem quit working i plugged into other parts of the house But i just keeps blinking red like its still...

Hello.

Try to unplug power on back of your modem. Let the phone line plugged in. Wait 10 seconds and plug the power back.

Wait about 1 minute and try it with your computer. This procedure will reconnect using a new IP address on your internet service provider.

It should work if you don't have a router. If you have a router attached to your modem, unplug power on both then plug your modem first and wait 1 min. Then plug back your router and wait 1 min. Try your internet connection after doing it. If you still don't have connection, try to restart your computer.

Hope this helps!

Wireless connection to internet

Hi,
I just got it all working [new notebook running Vista], connecting to the net via the telkom 5102G - with a PC running XP connecting via LAN.

The 5102G comes ready configured with a network key / code [stuck on the back] so use that to connect to the router - once you've connected it'll come up with limited connectivity.

I then ran the firmware upgrade from http://www.telkomphones.co.za/5102g.htm
To do this, download and unpack the thing. In your browser, go to 10.0.0.2 [for the router config] and click on firmware and follow the instructions.

Once this is done - disconnect and reconnect the vista laptop connection. Open your browser and simply click on tools and uncheck the tickbox alongside "work offline".

I know that sounds ridiculous but that's exactly what I did and I'm surfing fine.

Now... just need to share files and printer and we're 100%.

Hope that helps.

Philips TV keeps kicking off(lose of power)

moses1,
What you have there is a PTV915 chassis that has an Ssb board failing in it... To be more precise the smt (Surface Mount Technology) caps on the Ssb are failing. The board is mounted on the Lsb (Large Signal Board) vertically, just behind the tuner.
The module itself is Philips original p/n# 313912725871 and has been subbed to Philips p/n# PH3912725871 they're about $275.00 dollars.
Or you could take a risk and order one. But I'd still have the technician come out and install it for you... There are some star screws, which Philips has some infinity for, that are kinda difficult to get to and they need to be removed to access the module and extract it...
Hope this helps!

On and off line every 20 flashes.

Have you attempted to connect the internet after the router stops flashing? Do the lights start flashing again? If you do, then it would be considered normal.

If they don't and you do not have an internet connection, try the next step.

Next, plug your computer straight into the modem - Do you have an internet connection now? If you do, your router may require configuration.
