Usually, the switch for the wireless connection on Acer laptops is located at the front edge, beside Bluetooth button or at the left side of your keyboard beside the Caps Lock key. Just look for a button or sliding switch that has a symbol or an icon that looks like a satellite dish.

You may download the manual of your Acer laptop on this link.

I don't know how to turn on the wireless capability on myself?

What type of computer Desktop or Laptop & Make ???...

If your computer will not connect to a wireless Internet signal, one of the first things to check is whether your computer's wireless switch is turned on.
Many laptop computers have a switch located on the exterior of the computer that controls its ability to connect to wireless networks.
This switch can be accidentally turned off, preventing users from connecting to the Internet.

Determine if your computer's wireless connectivity has been disabled by viewing the network icon in the lower toolbar on your computer's desktop.
When there is a disruption in your computer's Internet connection, the icon will have a red X through it. For further information, go to the computer's Network and Sharing Center where you can troubleshoot connectivity issues and view available wireless networks.
If the computer isn't recognizing any wireless connections (and you're sure that there are wireless signals in your area), the likely problem is that the wireless switch is turned off.
Locate the wireless switch on your computer.
It may be located on either side of the laptop or along the back or front.
If you aren't sure whether your computer has a wireless switch, check the user guide that came with the unit.
Determine whether the switch is currently in the "On" or "Off" position.
The switch will be clearly labeled.
Push the switch in the direction of the "On" position to ensure that it is turned on.
If the switch was already turned on, see if there is a keyboard combination that will activate your laptop's wireless capability.
The key combination for your laptop will depend on your computer's manufacturer, but will generally involve a combination of the Function, Control or Alt and the F1 to F12 keys.
Check your user manual for your computer's key combination.

My wireless adapter is not showing networks or connecting to internet

First, make sure the driver for the adapter is up to date. Next, check to see if it is turned on. For laptops, the easiest way is to make sure the on/off switch (if applicable) is in the on position (denoted by a ' symbol). Also, most laptops come with a function (Fn) key combo to allow you to turn the adapter on and off. The other key to press will be denoted by a symbol that looks like a radio tower or a WiFi symbol. If the adapter is on and functioning properly, verify that the access point (eg. wireless router) is also connected to the internet and functioning properly. Make sure all lights that are supposed to be lit are, usually one for connection and one for transmit. If the router is not functioning properly, unplug it for 30 seconds to 1 minute to reset it (you will not lose any settings). If you verify that everything is working properly on your end, contact your service provider.

Youe broadband router is working ok with the broadband cable. So it is configured with the broadband cable. Now,to work with the wireless internet, you have to configured the wi-fi router to work internet. You can see the wi-fi connection but unless & untill you will configure wi-fi router it must not work or if before it was working with the wi-fi then you can check the wi-fi router setting because it might change by mistake.Surely it will work after configurating wi-fi router.

Go an Acer site and download the NIC dirvers and make sure the wireless switch is moved to the on spot. The wireless switch should be on the side or back, marked on & off and a pic of a satlite or dish.

Files from my phone to acer laptop

Most acer laptops have the bluetooth front button but very few have it installed. No device means yours is not bluetooth enabled and you will have to purchase a usb bluetooth adapter, class 1 being a 10 metre distance connection, class 2 being a 30 metre connection distance.
