Duplo DC 10000s tower has the powerlight on but nothing else is working have i blown a fuse or need to reset a button?

If you hear a beep (sound) as you turn your computer on then look and see you you have another video card (built in one) to hook vga cord into (which will most likely solve your problem).
If you hear several beeping (sounds) most likely your memory dimms went bad or got dirty by dust (or humidity), try take them out and clean them with an eraser (like the pencils one).
If not try this:
What you need to try first is to disconnect the power cord off of the power supply and hit the power on button several times (which will try to re-enable to electronic fuse) if that doesn't work most likely the powersupply needs to be changed (and not the whole motherboard although this is an option as well :)).
Good luck.

My medion desktop model pc mt 14 wont switch on from the mains

Whenyou plug in the power cord is there any lights whatsoever on the laptop, wherethe plug goes in or on the AC Adapter of the power cord?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? If so the laptop is trying to boot or may have booted, butthe screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with thelaptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issuewhen you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous. Most times the problemis with the memory or Video Card. Count the Blinking Lights or Beeps and takenote of their pattern (1 Long or 1 Long followed by 2 Short).

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, then Pressand Hold the power button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds plug the powercord back in and hit the power button to see if it boots.

Maybeyour memory is bad or the memory slot is bad.Removethe Power Cord, Open the Case and remove one of the memory chips. Set thechip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you knowthe memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x on it with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the next memory slot and tryrebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set it aside, then put theother chip in and try booting it in both slots. If it boots, just toverify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and put it into the openmemory chip slot and try booting.
Maybeyour power supply is bad. Sometimes there is enough power to make thepower light come on but not enough power to make the fan turn on or harddrive spin.

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button. And if that's true maybe you wasoperating off the battery the last time you had it on and since the power cordis bad, it was not charging the battery so the battery is drained and the powercord is bad.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, Remove theBattery, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the batteryout) and hit the power button to see if it boots. If it does, you can putthe battery back in and let it charge.Maybe your DC Power Jack which is where the power cord plugsinto the computer is bad. Take an ink pen and push the tip inside thejack and see if the little pin wiggles, if so the jack is bad. You'll have totake the laptop apart to fix it. Most times it is soldered onto themotherboard, so you will have to desolder the old and solder a new one.Maybe your memory is bad or the memory slot is bad.Remove the Power Cord, Open the Case and remove one of thememory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x onit with an ink pen. No beep sound, orange ligth remian on does not go off dell optiplex 360

Believe it or not it is probably your Power Supply. Just because it lights makes the system lights up does not mean it is working properly. Sometimes it has enough power to make the light glow, but not enough power to make the fan in the power supply start or any other functions.

You can also try the things below to see if they work, if not replace the power supply.

What causes red led on starting?

Remove Power Cord then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then put the cord back in and try to start it.

When you press the Power Button are you hearing the fans run, the disk drive running, the cd drive click and the light on it comes on for a second or two?

Anything shows up on the LCD Screen?

If you press the power button and absolutely nothing is happening then you most likely have a bad power supply.

If you press the power button and you start hearing beep sounds or blinking lights in a continuous pattern (ex. 1 long followed by 2 short) then you have a motherboard issue. Those beep sounds and blinking lights tells the technician what is going on with the computer.

Monitor light blinks but no pic when booted up

i can try to help you, do you hear the boot beep sound? if you are not able to hear the beep sound then i suggest you to open the machine and check with the cmos battery if it is working or no. if your cmos battery is working then have a check with Power supply. if the power supply working then there might be a problem with your motherboard or cpu. now let me talk about checking the ram. if you are able to remove the ram module remove it and see if u can hear a long beep sound if you are able to hear it try to clean the ram contacts with eraser and then try installing it. i think this might help you
