How do I fix Dell Latitude E5430 audio? Look in the details section for more info.

When this happens, go to device manager in the control panel and look for the audio section under sound video and game controllers. Then delete them and reboot the computer, if it is a driver issue the drivers will reinstall, if it is a hardware issue, they wont and you will know that the sound card chip is bad.

Dell Latitude E5430 Audio Problems - Dell Latitude E5430 Notebook Laptop

You can try a hard reboot by turning off your computer, unplug it, remove the battery then hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Once done put the battery back in, plug it back in and then start the laptop back up to see if that fixes the issue. Doing a hard reboot can fix small glitches with computers sometimes.

II have a broken headphone jack. How can i fix it ?.

Bad news, most laptops the audio is integrated into the motherboard. To fix the audio jack you will need to get the motherboard replaced in the laptop. If you have the technical skill to do this yourself, you can find a motherboard on ebay for about $150, if not, it may not be worth fixing.

I have no audio output

this might sound dumb but it happens to me all of the time. check to see if your audio is muted, volume up, etc. then move on to these steps:

try to re-install any audio drivers. this may fix your problem.

if your drivers are not the problem, you probably damaged your audio port and probably need to send the computer in for repair or fix it yourself.

Sound card is busted on my laptop and was wondering if I can fix it first before I have to spend any money

Sound card on a laptop is integrated on motherboard, and there is no way to fit inside an external one.

Try first reinstalling the driver, you can download the driver from manufacturer website.

If drivers do not fix it, and you are sure the audio chipset is faulty, all you can do is using an external usb card and speakers, like this ones:

Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro USB Audio Adapter
SIIG SoundWave 7.1 Audio Adapter

But most of the times you fix the audio by reinstalling drivers.
