How do you install a new transfer belt for the MagicColor #7450 printer?

Hi there !

The transfer belt is located at the right side of the printer. First you have to remove all the cartridge because the transfer belt is on the bottom of that printer. Open the right door of the printer and there is lock on both sides to free release the door cover and then there is a lever to unlock the transfer belt and pull it out to remove the transfer belt.

I hope it helps you.

After installing re-filled ink cartridges, both color and back & white, the printer message that shows ink level still shows low level ink? How do we resolve?

Hello,

Try this procedure:
1. Open printer lid so cartridges move to center of carriage.
2. Lift clamp and remove black or color cartridge from the holder.
3. Place cartridge on table with copper contact strip facing you.
4. Carefully place a strip of clear plastic tape over the four contacts on the upper left corner of the cartridge.
5. Reinstall cartridge in printer and close lid. Wait until cartridge returns to parking position.
6. Open lid and remove cartridge again. Remove tape from left side and place tape over four contacts at upper right corner of cartridge.
7. Reinstall cartridge in printer and close lid. Wait until cartridge returns to parking position again.
8. Open lid again, remove cartridge, remove tape.
9. Reinstall cartridge and close lid.
Printer will now recalibrate. Once the process is complete the ink level meter should be reading full again.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

Invalid transfer belt error on Samaung CLP 600N

This error can arise when the door on the right-hand side of the printer, the part you open in order to replace the toner cartridges, is not correctly closed. Close the top right-hand section first and then close the door on the right-hand side firmly (slamming it if necessary) and then check that all edges look correctly aligned. That should solve the problem. Incorrect shutting of these parts has always been the cause of this error on our Samsung CLP-600N laser printers and we have several of them.

Where is the ink cartridges

Ink cartridges are usually located on the inside of the machine behind the front door

Fix

Open any and all doors on the copier (usually front door)

some copiers are **** shell in design and ther is a release on ther left hand side as your are facing the front of the machine...pull release and it pops up

in either case look inside usually in the upper right corner

you will see handles for removing the cartridge or charger etc and drum etc

some copiers have ink and photo image as one

ther is usually a diagram on the inside cover..follow those directions

after removing the cartridge read directions on replacement ..close all doors and and you are ready to go!

good luck

If you still have problems send make and model and we can be moe specific

Laser printer not printing properly left side of page is very light, right side is normal, have tried redistributing toner and changing toner cartridge

Since you have changed the tone cartridges ...and it still does the same....

the next step is to check the transfer belt..transfer roller(this when hit by laser light stores the image and runs on the powder ink..the parts that have been created by the laser on the transfer belt is where the powder sticks)......remover the transfer belt roller and check to verify that its not worn out..its in the form of plastic paper more like Teflon.....view to see that it doesn't have severe markings...if its marked you will need to change the transfer belt to

If this doesn't fix the problem than you will need to change the laser scanner unit....

so basically its your cartridge...that provides color powder dust for image....
transferbelt...that transfers the image to the paper with the image being created by the laser scanner and the cartridge providing color

the last process is fussing ...heat is used to make stick the powder to the paper..and is done by the fusser unit...

as for your case the image is not either created by the scanner itself in the right manner..or the image is not properly created coz the transfer belt is worn out....

I suggest you replace the transfer belt next.

cheers!

Samsung 600N transfer belt

I fought the "replace transfer belt" message for quite awhile. Then I finally realized I was trying to close the toner cartridge door BEFORE I closed the lid above it. (The printer was close to a wall so I couldn't see the "open and close in this sequence" signs on the cartridge door.) Once I closed them in the proper order, I stopped seeing that message. Janet

Printer cartridge door

Here's the manual: http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/FAXMACHINES/Hewlett%20Packard%201020%20Plain%20Paper%20Fax%20Machine.pdf

And the fix is to firmly grasp both sides of the front panel at the top. Then pull hard away from the base of the machine. Believe it or not, there are two metal clasps that hold the panel down tightly. Once you pull hard enough for the panel to open it will sound like the damn thing broke. It likely hasn't -- mine didn't. After the panel is open, lift the paper guide panel to expose the ink cartridge. If your machine is plugged in while you're performing your surgery, the ink will move to the right and be exposed enough to remove from the machine.

HP 3500 color printer

If you can see what is stopping the door from closing, and it appears to be on the right side of the printer near the top where the cartridge engaging pins are, and you remove all the cartridges and transfer belt and the door closes well, you may want to try this: There is a small silver screw at the top of the right corner of the case. When our front door would not close properly with the cartridges and transfer belt assembly installed, I took off the right side cover and took out that top corner screw. Then I slid the long white engaging rack that is on the lower right side of the printer toward the front door, which retracted those cartridge pins that are triangularly-shaped on their ends. Once the door would close properly with the cartridges and the transfer belt installed, and the pins engaged properly to open the cartridges as the door closed, I put the top corner screw back in and the side cover back on. I hope that helps you.
