Question about Dell Dimension 4550 PC Desktop
First check the outlet, power strip, UPS etc. that the computer is plugged into. Many devices have a circuit breaker that will need to be reset after a power surge. Once you establish that you're getting power to the computer, check the power supply on the back of your computer - next to the power cord connector. Many power supplies have a fuse or circuit breaker. If there is no reset function or fuse then you will need to replace the power supply. These are inexpensive, simple to replace, and easy to find on sources such as eBay and Amazon.
I hope this helps.
