Hi

This issue seems to be with a blown fuse on main board or due to a disconnected ribbon cable inside the printer. Plesae trya power reset before checking for fuse or disconnected ribbon cables. Turn off the printer and unplug it for 10 seconds and then again turn it on. Hope ther were no power surges.

Reset procedure---

Unplug the power at the back of the printer and press # and "6" at the same time on the front panel
while holding these two buttons, replug the power at the back and keep holding till you see "semi full reset" on the screen
Now release the buttons and let the reset complete...you may be prompted to enter the language again etc....

Even if this does'not work...try a "full reset". Which is done by pressing "#" and "9" simultaneously with the same procedure
Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

If the previous solution didn't helped you much then please follow these instructions. Check for a little metal clip within the cartridge holder that comes loose. When it does, it ends up puncturing/cutting the ribbon cable (or whatever it's called) that is needed to read/provide data to the cartridge. If you would remove the cartridges, you may see the ribbon cable attached at the back of the carriage. If the ribbon has any cuts then you’ll need to replace this ribbon cable. However, ribbon cable is not available separately, so you would be required Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.to order a new carriage.

This Printer Power Adapter Can Not Be Unplugged From The Power Block To Reset Per The HP Video. Power Source End Is Connected Directly To The Adapter Power Block. The Is Receiving Power Because The Wirless Window Illuminates Whe Plugged Into Power Source.

Hello,

I will advice you reset the printer, follow the steps below to reset the printer,

1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold ?# and 6? keys.
3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys.
5. Follow on printer screen instructions.

If that did not fix the problem, try this,
  1. Unplug the power cable from printer while the printer is powered on.
  2. Press and hold OK and HELP buttons while plugging in the power cord. Wait for the screen to go black or blank before releasing the keys.
  3. Just turn on the printer and configure your printer new.
The problem should be fix with this.

Take care.

HP Officejet 7410 Display HP logo and Invent

Hello.
I'm afraid this one is a critical issue. If your product is in warranty or out of warranty , it would be better to upgrade to a newer model as this is a serious flaw in the printer.

all the best.
