Question about Hoover Dryers

2 Answers

I have a hoover Nextra Mega Load 7.5kg condenser tumble dryer. The heating part had stopped working, so have bought a new one, but cannot seem to get into the tumble dryer to unplug and plug the new part in. Any idea how I access these plugs.

Tumble dryer doesn't dry. It tumbles but there is no heat

Either your heating element went out or your thermostat (which regulates the temp).

There is no heat

Disconnect power and access your dryer fuses. Check and test your fuses for "continuity". Most likely, a white thermal fuse. Can possibly be your ignitor or heat element as well. Is your dryer gas or electric?

Hi the my filter light keeps flashing and iv got no heat!

My guess is that the heater element has gone out. There could also be a lint clog in the exhaust vent...it takes air out through the filter...across the heater element....and back through the tumbler to heat the clothes. This is usually what causes heat elements to go out is the excess lint that gets on them and causes them to overheat and burn out!
