The battery posts are most likely not getting enough coverage on the battery terminals. clean the terminals and the wires very well with a wire brush. other than that make sure you are sitting on the tractor the key is on and make sure that both the drive and the blade are set to off.

2013 Accord not starting Already replaced the starter and installed a new battery but nothing happened. When I turn the key I heard a "click" and nothing else. Lights in the dashboard remain all lit

Move the car about foot and retry. If it works, your flywheel might be bad. If that doesn't work, you may have a starter relay fuse, neutral safety switch, or brake switch going bad.

2003 Silverado will not start; the satrter and battery are ok but nothing happens when key is turned

Have you tried starting it in neutral? Is it making any sound at all? Is it an automatic or standard? If it's a standard it may be your clutch safety switch, if it's an auto it may be a faulty neutral safety switch.

check to make sure that mower deck drive is not engaged. there is a switch that the lever presses on it must be free. also check for seat switch cables loose or disconnected. Also make sure it is in neutral and not reverse as it may also kill the circuit for safety. Depends on you system for mow backwards. with key on you can short the two large terminals on solenoid to see if starter works. if so you must check all safety switches . try setting park brake before trying to start too.

Car won't start

A mechanic would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch. Also check the ground connections.

I have a 93 pathfinder SE 4X4 automatic transmission that had full power, new starter and battery. Sometimes it will start and sometimes not. By passed starter relay by adding push button start and it started 6-8 times then nothing. I finally figured out that it was the neutral safety or inhibitor switch on the 4 wheel drive shifter. Just an idea..good luck

You could try replacing the two fusible links down by the starter. They look like two black pieces of rubber on the wires. Just cut them out and splice the wires back together. If that's your problem it should start. If you unplug the neutral safety switch from the tranny the car should start if that is the problem. Hope this helps.
