Question about HP DeskJet 5650 InkJet Printer
Here is the link for installing your Driver for W7 x64;
HP and Microsoft sometimes seem to be at war with each other although it's gotten better recently. One of my best buddies is the local HP Tech Rep and I'm a pro laptop rebuilder. Here's some real experience advice that can save you alot of grief.
1. If you've already attempted the install and you can see the HP printer in the Programs list in the Control Panel, completely remove it and all apps assicoated with it that say HP.
2. Download a small app named Ccleaner and use the cleaner and registry cleaner functions. Here's the link for that.
3. Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard at bottom left and press the R key. A Run widow will appear. Type in %TEMP% and hit the Enter key. Your Temp FIle Folder will appear. Hold down the ctrl key and hit the A key. All the files will be highlighted. Hit Delete and let Windows delete all the files not in use.
4. Close all open windows and restart your computer.
You just performed a true CLEAN uninstall of an HP Printer. Now, go to the Driver and instruction HP lonk I gave you and re-install the printer. You should be good to go.
Best of luck to you.
