Question about Cambridge Soundworks CD-740 Clock Radio

1 Answer

I tried to put a CD into the Cambridge Soundworks thinking it was empty. It would not accept it so I pushed eject. After a number of tries it took a new CD. Now there are 2 inside and nothing will come out. What do I do?

If the disk is stuck then try pulling the disk out if any part of disk is seen outside from the eject position. Do this in unit off condition .Try to pry the disk out with hand in most possible condition. But if nothing is helping then unit needs to be disassembled. Its not very hard to disassemble the unit. Look for the hidden screws under the speaker grills. The grills just
pop right off .And then remove the sides and top cover off.The internal unit is exposed. All will be seen.
without moving any parts internally, just take or push the cd disks out. Carefully. Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

A CD got stuck in my Cambridge Soundworks 765i. How do I get it out?

There should be a small hole in the front of your CD player. Straighten out a paper clip, and poke it in that hole. That should eject the CD drawer.

My Soundworks Radio CD 740 drive has stopped accepting CDs. Any clue as to why and what I can do?

After my post, I found that someone had had a similar problem and had solved it by unplugging the radio cd from the mains, then plugging it back in and holding down the eject button when switching back on. This reset the CD drive and all is now well.
Thank you

Can't eject cds

I had this problem, and was able to solve it by holding the unit (carefully) so that the CD slot faces the floor, then pushing the eject button. Gravity acted to eject one CD, then the other.
