Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
This is a very common issue, but we mostly fix this after cleaning the whole unit. So I would suggest you the same. Remove the rear door, open the front panel door, remove all the cartridges, disconnect the usb cable. Now take a blower and give very hard blows through the front to the back. Keep the machine On, when you do this. Now take a soft brush, dip it in alcohol/acetone and wipe/clean all the rollers, may be those which are inside the cartridge carriage compartment or maybe at the rear compartment. Move the carriage with your hand several times and look very carefully if there's any pieces of paper or any foreign particles stuck or moving around. Just Clean the machine properly. That'll help you a lot in finding out the culprit.
In rare cases, the rollers are the cause of paper jamming or sometimes the gear, so first clean it and then secondly, you'll need to replace the rollers after that, gear and then the machine itself :-)
Well, let me know when you are done. I wish you good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.
