Question about Kenmore 64742 Electric Dryer
Unplug the dryer. Look for blockage. If you have air restrictions your heater element might be OK. If all these components check good and you still don't have heat you might have a timer problem or an electrical problem. The timer has a leg going directly to the heater element. The load is high and overtime the contacts inside that tidryer does not heat up - c97b4dc.jpgntAnother thing it could be it the breaker. The motor runs on 120 volts. The heater however runs on 240 volts. If the breaker is worn on the heat load side then the dryedryer does not heat up - 7e5d468.jpg but their will be no heat.If it turns out to bedryer does not heat up - d60b014.jpgstead of the heater element then clean out the dryer
