Gateway keyboard shows a lock

There is a green light on under the lock with 1 in it, next to the lock with A in it. My husband couldn't get the keyboard to work, but it seems to be working now. Something is still locked though, and I'd like to know how to unlock it. Thanks.

I'm not sure how it got fixed. The number lock wouldn't go off and we couldn't type anything. I rebooted and that may have done it. At first I didn't think it did since the light was still on, but it must have worked since the keyboard was unfrozen. I'm still not sure what my husband did to it!

I'm not sure what I did that unlocked the keyboard, but I was finally able to turn off the green light. I tried rebooting and pressing all sorts of buttons, but the one that might have worked was the 'end' key.
