Question about Sony KV-32V65 TV
My Sony TV KV-32V65 take a while to power on. The standby light blinks for several minutes (1-5 minutes) before powering on. Apparently, this is the amount time it takes before the relay turns on. Once its powered, the picture keeps periodically/randomly blacks/blanks out for a couple of seconds. The picture quality, color and sound are all fine. What could be the problem?
I had the same problem. Can't remember where, but I had to re-solder some joints. If you look very closely to the bottom of the motherboard, you might be able to see a cracked solder joint, otherwise carefully touch each one to fix it. Easy fix and the tv's been running flawless for going on 3 years now.
Be careful to not touch anything on the high voltage side with your hands. Even with it unplugged.
