I have an HP Officejet 5610 All in one printer. On the computer system it is telling me there is a computer jam however there is no paper jam and the printer is displaying its normal screen. Currently I am unable to print any documents. What do I need to do?

Hello,

The problem is from the printer driver on the system, before any attempt, restart your system, if the problem still persist after restarting your system, you will need to uninstall the printer driver from your system and reinstall back after uninstalling, this will solve the problem. Uninstall the printer driver from your system and reinstall back, ensure you restart your system after re-installation. with that, the problem should be fix.

It tells me that the printer is out of paper, but it is not. It will copy and print, but not print from computer


Usually a paper sensor is jammed or dusty.

Try blowing all area out.

Look for small swinging levers that sense the paper.

Lift the cover just as you would to scan a document. Then, lift the side of the cover directly to the left of the glass, closest to the glass, and check for jammed paper.

My 5610 all in one series keeps telling me that there is a paper jam. I have checked and there is no paper jammed in the printer. It won't reset. It keeps saying paper jam. Help!


Check to make sure both ink cartridges are installed properly. I don't know why it says "paper jam" when the cartridges aren't properly installed, but it does.
