How do i connect my JVC screen tv so that i can hear out of my speakers

If your JVC TV has AUDIO OUT outputs on the rear and a provision in the initial set up screen to disable the internal speakers, you can connect to your Yamaha receiver and enjoy improved sound.

My jvc tv model LT32A80SU has a picture but no sound what could it be

Aside from a audio circuit problem:

Look to see if the set has a earphone jack--sound that way?

If set has rear connections do you have sound with a DVD player etc?

Look in the main menus for a setting that speakers are not turned OFF>

JVC RX-515VTN: When I turn it on, th ereciever comes to life and then "Protect" flashes on the screen and then it automatically shuts off after about 10-15 seconds.

Check the rear panel for any loose connections, paying special attention to the speaker terminals. If you are using speaker wire without connectors, make sure that you have no stray strands of wire protruding outside the terminals or any broken strands.

Strand wire over time oxidizes and becomes brittle and easy to break so at any time the unit was moved while connected or anything else that would create tension on your connections it could easily break some wiring.

Also check the opposite ends of all of your connections at the speakers and input devices, i.e; DVD player, television etc.

What color goes to which speaker?

Check the following link:
http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/91/GET0408-001A.pdf

The directions on page 4 indicate:
White = Front Left Speaker
Gray = Front Right Speaker
Green = Rear Left Speaker
Purple = Rear Right Speaker

The plain colored wire is the + side of the speaker.
The colored wire with a black stripe is the - side.

Hope this helps!

I would like to know how to hear the sound on my rear speakers how do I do do this I have a KD-A605/KD-R600 model by JVC

To switch from front to rear speakers you need to look for FADER option.It would be under main SOUND menu.That will of course work if you got rear speakers hooked up.
