Hi prasad, u r getting a lesser memory because you motherboard consumes 64mb for its shared usage... this is common, certain motherboards comes with a builtin shared memory, some does not...
right now the SMPS on your computer might have gone bad, u can check with a different SMPS... Sometimes even the board might have shorted, in this case you can service ur board... it may costs around Rs.400

I have a 512 DDR2 (533 FSB) RAM in one of my slot in Intel D102GGC2 Mother board, can i put a 2 GB DDR2 ram in another slot.If yes then What FSB will match and what is the maximum capacity of ram per slot?

This motherboard will support maximum 2 GB of total system memory. so configuration is should be 1GB + 1GB or one 2GB in one slot. If you attempt to install 2GB + 512MB, this is unsupported. but you can try if might the system can read it or not. there is no serious problem for installing memory exceed than maximum system memory...
Memory supported is DDR2 533 Mhz and DDR2 400 MHz...(sometimes on the market DDR2 533 will described as module name PC2-4200 and DDR2 400 as PC2 3200)

My DG41TX works perfectly with dual core processors, but with core 2 duo not, do 3 beeps and dont show any video, what i must do?? my core 2 duo is E8400 my dual core is E2180 Bios Version:...

The POST beep code - 3 short beeps mean RAM failure.
Try reseating the RAM modules.
If this does not solve your problem then remove all the RAM modules and insert one RAM module at a time into memory slot 0 (1st memory slot) to determine which is the faulty RAM module.

Your motherboard has the follwing memory support : DDR2 533/400 SDRAM 2 slots, Single-channel (2GB2 Max). As long as it is supported by your motherboard there would be no problem since your processor is also supported by the motherboard.

Will INTEL D102GGC2 support DDR2-667

Hi Deepak,

The Intel D102GGC2 supports DDR2 - 400 and 533 MHz, NOT the 667mHz clockspeed.
It will support up to 2 GB with two memory module slots.

And be sure to review the Tested Memory list before using this Intel® Desktop Board which you can find the list on the Intel support site.
