How do i install the blades on my weed eater so i dont have to use string anymore

There are many options out there but pretty much all of them require you to completly remove the line trimming head and screw on an aftermarket device. I use the bruch hog, the line trimmer and one with three nylon blades that are replacable (from Menards) and all work well but you do have to replace the blade too so it will not be the end all. If you are going through a lot of line may I suggest you run the trimmer at about 1/4 speed or just enough to do the job, it really saves a lot of line and frustration.

Typically 32:1 to 40:1 for all these models. Use 35:1 and modern 2 cycle oil and you will be fine. :)

I just bought a craftsman weed eater and the fishing line gets caught up and wrapped around the spoke of the turning mechanism in between the the covered spool and the machine. How can this be fixed. Is...

it is very hard to rewrap the line in any weed eater. Techs get paid good money to do this, and there is a spring that must be placed inside the spool container that gets pressed to release new line. My suggestion, if is giving you this much trouble, and, will every time it needs new line. remove your old spool and go to the hardware store and purchase a spool that has plastic or metal blades on it. ie, no line, nothing to wrap, nothing to feed. Just be careful using it and do not let a child near it, it will nick you. They are less than 20 bucks and alot cheaper than getting a technician every time it needs to be rewound. I worked for sears and we saw these every day. If you must have the line. follow the steps in the manual step by step, it does take some force to get the spool back on properly, because of the spring. just make sure you direct the recoil away from you or your body at all times.
