Thanks for the email> I solved it by calling Phillips again and asking them what happened to the part that has yet to come its been a year! There is a saying we Dutch are proud of "If it ain't Dutch it ain't Much" Not in this case> My wooden shoes are looking good for throwing at the TV if they dont do something soon>

My Phillips 42PF7320A/37 has stopped displaying the picture properly. The screen is polluted with black lines and red pixels. Any help would be greatly appreciated.


Look for loose contacts in power outlet, RC Jacks, sockets, cables. Change input device to some other like a DVD that you are sure works.

Sharp Aquos 37" picture


Those lines are because of "Interlacing". a REALLY bad case of it. what are you watching when this happens?

This set is a HD plasma tv and convergence is done differently than the rear projection tv's,rear projection tv's have convergence Ic's and you can adjust the color but not on this unit.

it sounds like you could have a signal board problem they are pretty expensive but there is a web site that sells refurbed parts
