The nails can turn over if you have the wrong angle or gauge nails in the tool. Make sure you are using the proper nails for your gun because they are not all the same.

I have a craftsman framing nail gun model number 351-18320 question how I reload it just got it on craiglist

Hi, W/D here.
On the side of the slide that holds the nails will be a tab. If the gun is empty, it will be close to the base of the slide, near the head of the gum. Grasp the tab, and pull it all the way back until it locks in place. Load your nails. Now, near where the tab that you pulled back is locked in place, you will see a (usually) silver button. Pull back slightly on the first tab, then push the button, releasing the lock. Let the slide push the nails into place, and you're ready to go. Place 2 drops of oil daily in the nail gun where the air line connects, then hook up the air line. Fire away!
Here is a link to an exploded diagram of your nail gun. Double click the diagram to enlarge it. On the right side of the page is the link to a free download manual. Enjoy!
Best regards, --W/D--

My craftsman framing nailer has two nails jammed in head. Is this something I can repair myself?

Yes, just disconnect the air line and get in there and dig them nails out, don't wait for somebody else to work on it. Do it yourself. The front of that gun should lift up and expose the nails coming through, pull them out with pliers, make it clear, then reload and fire it back up and see what happens, a lot of times the generic nails will clog up.

Craftsman framing nailer not working properly

Yes you can purchase a Kit from the sears parts department. And just in case you are not aware of it, one needs to insert a few drops of oil into the air fitting periodically to keep things lubed. This may also fix the problem if you haven't been doing that. Good Luck and have a great week. Jeff

Nail comes out another hole

are you using the right nails and are they inserted properly if this is an angle gun? Also look for a jammed nail that might be causing this. look at the magazine bolts to make sure they are tight. You can go to for the owners manual and troubleshooting guide.

I have a Sears framing nailer that uses clipped head nails.

I know on some other brands that to convert them we had to change the noses, but I honestly don't know about Craftsman. If you give me the model number I will try and do some more research and possibly come up with a tech support number for you.

Oven door came off

Got it fixed! I found the owners manual posted on another site with replacement instructions. Expand the hinges from the door and insert a nail or screw into the hole there to hold hinges open. With hanging slots parralel to pins in oven frame slide back into place.Once in place open door completely and remove screw or nail. Couldn't be easier.
