I have a proscan tv and want to reset the settings for the picture. How would I do this?

The model doesn't exist. All question need
'make model (what it is)', first 3 words and in that order.

"channel button". is it a television? Reset would be in Settings / General. You have the Remote? All sets need a Remote.

Just do a hard reset to this set and check. To make it a hard reset, unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If this do not help you, the main board to your TV is faulty. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

Unplug,replug the tv about an hour reset the audio back to factory setting.Should work if ur main tuner signal board is good.

Have you tried changing the settings on the ps3? If you go into the display settings adjust them Also if you want to change the ps3 to the default

If the video output settings on the PLAYSTATION®3 do not match those of the cable or TV in use, there may be no picture. If the screen goes blank, turn the system off.

You would go into the menus to adjust the picture settings. Press the menu button repeatedly until you get the 'video' menu hilighted, then press the 'select' or enter or whatever button chooses, and then use the left and right arrows to adjust the settings, and the menu button to advance to the next selection.
