Your PRO-96 has 10 banks of 50 channels, giving you access to 500 channels for conventional systems. It also has 11 banks of 500 channels, giving you access to 5500 users on trunked systems. Detailed instructions for programming the scanner are contained in the factory operating instructions, which you can download and print at no cost here:

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I can't get local police on my uniden bc345crs

That's because many police departments use a baud rate (similar to old fax modems) to decrypt the voice and then put it back together again with the right encryption key

HDTV interfers with my Police scanner

It sounds like HD mode on the TV operates at a different frequency (refresh rate) that then causes interference to your nearby police scanner. There's not much you can do about this--the HDTV design cannot be modified.

Your best solution is to try moving the police scanner further away from the TV. I doubt there is any kind of barrier that you can place around the scanner that might block the interference (the "noise" given off by the TV is likely omnidirectional).

KENWOOD R2000 POLICE SCANNER

The R2000 is a shortwave receiver, not a Police scanner, covering 100 KHz to 29.999 MHz.

There was a converter available (VC10) that connects to the back of the unit that will allow tuning between 118 MHz to 174 MHz.
