Try this.

Disable hardware accelerating on your adobe flash player Settings.

Can be done by Right Clicking the Video and selecting settings

Then uncheck the hardware accleration. Then see if you can play in full screen.

try setting to the desired setting then go to the top task bar click on the icon that has one square on another as that reduces the screen size

I have installed viewsonic va1716w monitor using windows xp. I am unable to set its resolution to 1440X900. from display properties it going from 1024X768 to 1280X1024

It is possible that the video driver cannot support 1440X900 resolution.
Try installing the latest video driver and then try the higher screen resolution.

Windows XP Not displaying fully on 1440x900 resolution.

If you have one of those older CRT monitors you should be able to resize the image. Some LCDs have screen shifting tools too. Try doing a full restart, too. (shutting your computer down, waiting 1 or 2 minutes, then starting it up again.)

I recently purchased and installed the P191W monitor, and now my pictures are stretched. I was told I new to get a new graphics card. What card should I get? Or can I just update the driver? I am running...

Find your monitor's native resolution, in your case it's 1440x900. Go to display settings (usually right-click on desktop and choose properties), go to settings tab and move the resolution slider until it shows 1440x900. Confirm, the screen should flicker for a moment and adjust - and you should be fine.
If there is no 1440x900 resolution available, then installing a monitor .inf file that came on a disk accompanying the monitor might help.

Input not supported is floating round my monitor screen how do i get rid of it

You probably need to change the resolution setting in your computer display settings to a setting that is supported by the monitor.
Your resolution setting right now is probably too high to be recognized by the monitor.
1440x900 should be the resolution setting for an AL1916w if your video card will allow that setting

Words are stretched - computer runs on Windows XP

The resolution issue you are describing sounds like a video card driver issue. You must determine what video card or chipset you have and apply the appropriate driver. The Acer x193w monitor is plug and play, it will display whatever the OS sends to it provided it is within its display range and 1440x900 is definitely within that range.

Does the video card ,in the second machine, support 1400x900 resolution? I am running dual 7600 video cards and that optional resolution is not available to me. Will it change to any other resolution setting?
