Question about HP w17e Monitor
Ghrit, if disconnecting-reconnecting the vga cable 4 or 5 times won't cure your PINK screen, then you may have bad inverter supply or the "cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamps" might also be a bit tired-out and need replacing? Retrevo .com lists unit as over the hill but not ready to retire. Do some reading in my and other ("budmrtn" "buddymc") fixya profiles for info on what to do!!! Follow the links you find there to learn about pink screen and also black screen and blank n black screen conditions that occur with all brands of CCFL back-lit lcd monitors. Do some research here at FIXYA and pay a visit to YOUTUBE for video clips of "lcd monitor repair" "lcd monitor disassembly" so you have info for future use. Bye for now 12fixlouie
