Question about Husqvarna Garden

1 Answer

I hit a tree stump and had to replace the blade. I tipped the mower upside down and left it that way for 30 minutes while I went to get the new blade. Now it won't start. Did I flood it, or get gas somewhere it should be? It does turn over but won't start...

You not only flooded but you probably got oil in the cylinder as well. Start by replacing the spark plug.

How to replace plastic blades on a challenge mower

Dave, Remove plug wire, raise mower, or tilt on it's side to access blade. Remove center bolt holding blade on, noting the position so as not to install new blade upside down. Install new blade correctly and tighten blade bolt tight. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Hi there, I've bought a honda hrx 537 21 inch mower cheap because the previous owner went over a tree stump and although cuts well, it vibrates when just idling-without the blades spinning! could this just...

sorry to tell you this but that will never go always . It has a bent crankshaft usually right by the blade. It will need to be rebuilt with a new crankshaft. Oh, use can use it like it is, but your hands will fall asleep with vibration.

One blade is not cutting as well as the other both were replaced at the same time

I would make sure neither blade is upside down, means the little vanes must be UP. Then I would make sure that neither blade is freewheeling, i.e. not spinning with the belt's motion. There are a few problems with the mandrels, usually caused by hitting a stump or other immovable object, where a shear pin or other fail safe device snaps to save the other mechanical parts.

I had hit a somewhat hidden stump on the lawn..bending the blade. Took the deck off and replaced the bent blade. Put the deck back on and now the cut seems uneven. It appears that the deck is now...

I've only had luck removeing the deck, turn it upside down. Measure blade, mark, remove blade, insert large pipe over spindle, bend in direction. Re-install blade, and do it all over and over till straight. Measure in several locations.

Cub cadet rzt 50, hit stump, blades wont engage but not bent

The blades on this cub cadet are activated with air pressure. Chances are that when you hit that stump, you either blew a fuse or the control module that allows the blades to spin. Begin by checking the fuses. J.

After hitting a low bearing tree stump with my troy bilt 6.75 push mower it bent the blade and now refuses to start. How do i fix it?

You will need to replace the key under the flywheel because it probably sheared when you hit the stump and you will need to replace the bent blade before starting the mower again.
I hope this helped
