I have an audiobahn sn-ma2 model a2401x. the cooling fan in it shorted out and i have to replace the black and red wires but where you are supposed to soder the wires back into the circut board. it is melted so my question is, is there a way to wire the cooling fan directly to the main power supply so when the amp turns on the fan will turn on and when the amp turns off the fan turns off?

check your cooling fan first(fan#1)..turn A/C on and see if the fan working..if not than unplug the temp sensor and check again..if the the still don't work than try unplug the fan and run a bypass wire using a battery..if the fan don't work than replace the fan..if yes than your problem is the fan relay/fuse or lose connection on the wiring..it take time but you will find it..but how long you can drive it..well stick to the freeway and avoid red light..check your cooling every day...good luck

I have a hunter with 3 wires black white green how do I wire it to a three wire cable black red white ground the fan also has a light and remote but remote is Brocken want to use it with no remote model...

Black to Black - White to White, Green to Green (copper). Put a wire nut on the red wire.

The Black is suppose to run the light (or the fan) while the Red is suppse to run the fan (or light). The White is common and the ground is ... well the ground.

If you have a light kit on the fan, you can control the light and the fan separately ... or you can run them together.

Let me know how this comes out ...

Need to know what the four wires are for, red black yellow and blue, I am wiring it to and ancient apple, no choice. just need to know how to set it up at hi speed constant operation. I am using a rf-120...

Usually the red is +12 volts DC, the black is ground, the yellow is the tach sensor, and the blue is speed control. The fan will run at full speed off the red and black. The yellow and blue are of no use unless the motherboard is designed to use them.

Gateway laptop shuts off even when plugged in

Well, I'm not exactly sure if it is the cooling fan (you would have to see if its working), but it definitely could be an overheating problem. Another problem could actually be the battery, even if you have it plugged in, the battery can still cause it to shut down. If your computer is able, I would try using it without the battery and see what happens. And I believe that the cooling fan will fit. Here is a good site to help you troubleshoot your problem

Replaced fan relay but now lowing fuses

This might be a ground wire loose somewhere. Or a hot wire exposed to a ground. Electrical problems are the worst part of a car to fix. Try to replace just the wires or the entire harness to the fan relay.
Hope this helps.

Fridge Heats but dosen't cool

This fridge uses a Peltier effect cooler sometimes referred to as a TEC or "Thermo Electric Cooler".
In order to cool it must be able to dissipate heat and it sounds like the fan in the back that it uses to do this has failed.
Replace the fan with an 80mm by 80mm 12v computer cooling fan and make sure the fan blows the correct direction.
The fan will have small arrows stamped into it on one of the 4 sides indicating the direction of rotation as well as the direction of air flow.
NOTE: You can use a 3 wire fan (yellow, black, red) if that is all you can locate, just don't connect the yellow tach wire (the wire that reports fan speed to the motherboard of a computer).

Good luck and have fun.
