Sansa View won't transfer music

Hello, robmshaw. I'd be happy to help! From the information you provided, I don't see any critical problems, I would just advise you to visit the site below and download these firmware updates. They will look for your Rhapsody application and your Sansa's newest available downloadable software which would probably problem solve the problem of you not being able to transfer your music. If this fails, I would recommend maybe looking to see if your computer's firewall option is on. Having this on would prevent you from transferring any content from your computer to the mp3 player. If it is on, try turning it off and see what happens. I hope this helped! :)

I don't know how to get music onto my Sansa Fuze.

Hello,

There's a Sandisk support site for the Sansa Fuze, see:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3249/

Sansa Fuze user manual in pdf format:
http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/UserManual/FUZE/fuze_userguide_en.pdf

Important
There are 2 ways the Fuze can be connected to a computer to transfer
music: MTP mode or MSC mode, read page 16 (=13) of the manual.
The player can be set to automatic detection of the connection mode
or can be set to either one of the available connections.

MTP mode is used for transfers using software like Sansa Media Manager or Windows Media Player 11.

MSC mode is used for transfers using the "drag and drop" method in the computer's explorer.

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings. Then add music this way and see if it is works: 1. Free a USB port on your desktop computer. Now, grab the USB cable for your SanDisk Sansa MP3 player and connect the player to your computer. 2. Wait for your computer to find and recognize the player. This may take a few moments. Once you receive a confirmation message, open your computer and scan the icons for the SanDisk MP3 player. 3. Open the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player on your computer. The music files that you currently have saved to the player?s memory are displayed. 4. Open a folder containing music files that is stored in your desktop computer?s memory. Scan the files for songs that you want to transfer to the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player. 5. Left-click on a song file and drag to the SanDisk Sansa window. Drop the file and let your computer complete the transfer. The transferred file appears at the bottom of your music list. 6. Unplug your SanDisk Sansa player from your computer. Turn the player on and allow the file transfer to update to the internal memory of the MP3 player.

Sansa e260

You need to synch them to Rhapsody or whatever music service you pulled the songs from. also, make sure your music service subscription supports transfer to portable devices instead of simple transfer to a computer.
