Question about LG 47LE5400 47 in. TV
I'm sorry, but this is not a solution--just a complaint that I have EXACTLY the same two components, a 47LE5400 and a BD570, and I have EXACTLY the same problem: video dropouts lasting a second or two. But I'm only getting this while watching 1080p output from the BD570. If I set the BD570 output to 1080i, the dropouts never happen. I've also just recently tried watching a blu-ray disc at 1080p 24Hz (instead of 60Hz), and not once during that movie did it blank out. But I haven't tried more than that.
The technician that LG has sent out is a total loser (tried to tell me that a component connection is digital), so I'm going to try again with LG directly.
Any solutions to this at all would be greatly appreciated... my warranty runs out in May and who knows what support I'll get after that.

I have the same problem! Viewing regular t.v. is fine, as is any VHS tape. But when playing DVD or Blu-Ray, I get dropouts. I've tried three different players and two different HDMI cables. So it must be the HDMI receiver within the actual LG t.v. Would love to know how to fix this without having to replace the television.
