Hello,

its the problem of overheating in the power supply board of the TV.on the power supply board of the TV there are few capacitors and IC.any of this IC is got short or may be weak.so due to this when you start the TV the current passes from electric outlet to the power supply board of TV.but when the current passes from that weak/faulty part at that time current gets stopped or slow and the board overheats and TV shuts off. this is a common problem faced by many other users too.the possible option to solve this issue is to check the power supply board by a meter and continuity tester and replace the faulty component on the board which is short due to which power supply board is getting overheated.its bit technical job but yes its not at all a costly repair to do or get it done by the technician. for required parts it can be easily available from local electronic hardware shop.
This will help.

My WD-60639 DLP TV won't stay on (it goes off right after it gets on)

You should be getting a light or lights on set blinking in this case, and the set should have a self check if they blink etc---hold menu and input in at same time for more than five seconds and release both, the blinks on the power light should be a two digit code like three blinks, seven blinks which is 37 Let me know what if any code you find.

If you unplugged the set during this time it will clear the errors so you have to try to turn it on again, let it fail and do the check again.

Toro self propelled mower. blade won't stay tight

Use a block of wood to hold blade stationary while tightening bolt. Ensure threads are cleaned with a wire brush before tightening. Is there a spacer or washer missing?

My tv has a problem staying on and sometimes it turns it self off and turns it self back on and has become more frequent with turning it self off

Check the electrical outlet which the tv is plugged into. Make sure nothing is loose at the outlet as well as on the back of the tv where the power cable plugs in.
Another thing to try is plug a different device into that same electrical outlet and see if it turns on/off as well. If that device also turns on/off by itself, it could be a faulty outlet.

TV won"t stay on turns off in 3 seconds WS 55807

Do the self check when power light goes off.

On front of set press and hold both the menu and input buttons for 5 seconds or longer and release both buttons.

Power light will blink a error code like: 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat about 4 more times.

Let me know what error code you find and I will tell you what it means.

If this information told you something rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.
