You log onto your router (google your model for how to do this, and your default log in details) go to wireless/security.
If you have not set a wpa password yet or want to change it, this is where you do it

What is wpa pass phrase while setting wireless printer

WPA with a Pre-Shared Key (PSK), also known as personal. PSK is entered as a pass phrase between 8 to 63 alphanumeric characters in the ASCII format at both ends of the wireless connection. Although PSK accepts a minimum of eight characters, for proper security, it is a good idea to use ample length and should not use a commonly known phrase. This phrase is used to generate session keys that are unique for each wireless client.

WPA pass phrase is a password for the wireless network to make it secured. You can obtain the WPA pass phrase when you access your router. Check the manual of your router for the address, username and password of your router. Go to wireless settings, you will see ther the SSID or Network Name, Network Key or the Pass Phrase and Authentication (WPA/WPA2/WEP). You can personalize the SSID,Network Key and Authentication. Remeber that for you to connect wirelessly the Authentication and Network Key on the router should match the Network Key and Authentication of the Printer or Computer.

Lexmark wi fi printer need the wap code for the roter

If your wireless network is secured, the WPA or WEP security encryption key is a requirement to successfully connect the Lexmark printer to a wireless network. These keys (WPA or WEP), if you don't know it, can be obtained by accessing your wireless router through the computer. Your wireless router manufacturer or your internet service provider can better assist you in obtaining that info. Thanks.

Where exactly do we look for the wpa key ps3 at on the computer or on the game its self

You will have to use your computer to get to the WPA key. If your computer is wirelessly connected to the internet, then you can just go to the wireless network connection, right-click and go to properties. In the properties window, go to the security tab, and you should see the wpa key (it might be referred to as the "Network Security Key", and you might need to check the "Show Characters" box to see the actual key).
If you do not have a computer that is wirelessly connected to the internet, then you need to obtain the key by going onto the router's configuration settings page (the webpage used to setup the router). Here is a website to take you step-by-step in figuring out how.

Finding ssid and wpa to set up my C4380 seris wireless printer

The SSID is your network name.

The WEP or WPA is the password to get onto the network. Think of the router as the doorman. The printer needs to get into the club so it needs the password otherwise it can't get access.

The WEP key and WPA passphrase are obtained from the wireless router or access point using the embedded web server on the router. See the documentation provided with your router to see how to access this information. Some routers provide more than one WEP key. Use the first WEP key if this is the case.

Ok This is noraml if the ESSID broadcast is turned off and if a WEP or WPA encryption key has been added. this will not allow you to associate and connect to the wireless access point. But if you want to see if the wireless access point has a WEP or WPA key you can install NetStumbler and it will tell you what networks are active in your area. The network you are trying to connect to will appear and it will have WEP yes or WPA yes to indicate if the network has a key. If it does you will not beable to connect until you have the key.
