Question about Frigidaire Dishwashers
HI. Ok, here the deal here; Your transmission will lock up soon. If it is not moving at all in agitation mode, it is already semi-locked, in a way. Frigidaire dose not sell the gear kits for this unit. with that said; i would inspect the hub to be sure of its integrity. If the hub shows any signs of trauma or if it is stripped, it must be replaced. now; if the hub is in great condition, you will then need to replace the entire transmission. As i have already stated above, the transmission cannot be repaired by the owner of the unit, due to the fact that, there are no parts available to purchase on the market. it is a sealed gear assembly. You can only replace it. Click here to view an exploded view of the transmission. the hub will be labeled number 2 on the diagram provided. You will need to remove the inner and outer tub to access this part for inspection. If it is stripped, replace it. If it is not stripped, replace the entire transmission. The washer bearing block will be labeled number 27 on the diagram provided. If these bearing have failed, replace them along with the transmission if the hub checks out ok and it is not stripped. You will also need to purchase a tub seal kit(labeled number 26 on the diagram) during the transmission replacement procedure, as well.
Additionally; I have included a service manual, as well. This manual will help guide you through the disassembling procedure, which starts on page 62 of the manual provided. Click here to access the service manual for this unit.
The manual is quite large, so allow time for it to completely download and save it to your hard drive for future references.

Washer bearing block - 131784300

I am assuming this refers to a Washing Machine and not a dishwasher.
The symptoms are showing a problem with the agitator drive mechanism. Most likely a coupler has come off. The pump and drum rotation should be ok if you can complete the spin without problem.
Check out this site for the parts that you need to look at.
Hope this helps. Note the frigidaire and whirlpool come off the same factory so I am assuming your washer is identical to that shown here.

Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems to be two things: clicking noise which is heard if the timer is bad and the dishwasher will not complete its cycle which I don’t think is happening with your Dishwasher. The grinding noise that you hear all the time is from a cracked transmission assembly when this assembly is cracked you hear strange grinding noises. Also before replacing this transmission assembly you’ll need to make sure that the motor shaft is clean and is not rusted. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
