Check the red yellow and white cables and push them in harder

X box kinect not working with older x box


Microsoft wont allow xbox360 accessories to be compatible with its old xbox model. Microsoft makes money this way. so when you buy the new stuff, most of the time you always have to buy the other stuff that is just as new. the xbox360 OS (Operating System) is different from the old Xbox OS. Thats also why Xbox360 cant play the original Xbox games. This way Microsoft can keep heading in the direction they are aiming for. Its like they say, "you cant teach an old dog new tricks."

Just turn off the cable box,when u used the TV widget to watch the Netflix movies online.So u,will not have anymore audio signal interference.

I have a TX SR606, and I have an Xbox360,


In the setup menu go to HDMI setup and see if the HDMI inputs are set to IN1 or IN2 or IN3. If you are not proficient with the setup menu let me know and I'll be glad to send you some info from the owners manual on seting up the inputs.

MX 3950D Philips - PS3 no sound


Aside from the xbox360 working via the coaxial digital cable. I got the PS3 to work this way.

I had to use the supplied SCART > (Y-video) (Red-Audio) (White-Audio) cable. Basically plugged this in from the PS3 directly to the MX 3950D Aux (Auxiliary) audio input.

On the PS3 audio settings menu, switched from HDMI to the 3rd option SCART.

Turn on the MX 3950D and set to Aux. Bang, got sound again.

I missed this cause I "assumed" the video/audio cable that came with the PS3 was a HDMI to Audio/Video cable, and didn't even see the SCART port in the back of the PS3. So I thought I didn't want to lose 1080p ..etc etc. Anyways. MX 3950D still good =)

Sony str-dg820. having a problem getting video on tv


Hook up Composite / Component Monitor Out wire from receiver to TV video input because receiver will not change analog input into HDMI
You need to connect receiver and TV through analog video terminals as above.
Actually you are expecting that receiver will convert DVD player and Xbox analog video input into digital HDMI signal for TV and This is incorrect.

The OSD on my Harman/Kardon 347 does not show up anymore. I am using a Compostie cable and it just stopped working a while ago. I had hooked up an X-Box 360 to my T.V using the 3 RED, GREEN, BLUE component...


Put the receiver in stand by mode (amber light) and hold on the tone button for 8 seconds. This will reset the receiver. After it says reset, let go of the tone button and wait about 30 seconds. Then hit OSD and you should be good to go.

Cable box HDMI connection probelm


This is from the Yamaha user guide:
The analog component video signals (with 480i (NTSC)/576i
(PAL) of resolution only) are converted to the S-video or
composite video signals and output at the VIDEO or S VIDEO
MONITOR OUT jacks.
The question is what kind of signals you get from your HD cable box.

A new xbox360 it over heated and will not work now


To fix my overheating issue I bought myself an N-ter-Cooler that affixes to the back of my Xbox, giving it more fans and alleviating overheating issues.

Now if you're saying it will not turn on anymore after it overheated once, You should call Microsoft and see if its replaceable under warranty because if thats the case, your X-box is probably beyond repair.
