My 2000 F250 5.4 idles 2500!! I unplugged the IAC and it dies plug it back in and pinch the vacuum hose off and it idles donw normal! So I changed it and it still does the same thing and I check for...

Fords are bad for Idle. Pinch the hoses of again. One at a time. When it idles normal. follow that line to find the leak. Ford has and still does have bad rubber elbows. They can't take the heat and oil. Most the leaks I find are under the intake plenum.

What causes air hose collapses and gets pinched off of 2002 mountaineer. around intake carb area

Collapsed hose indicate the pressure on one side is much lower than the other, in this case the intake or suction side is very strong and since the air its pulling into the engine is not sufficient i.e. both sides are not equal, the hose collapses. Most likely you have an air restriction in the hose someplace, could be a really badly clogged air filter, or an obstruction in the air intake at the front of the vehicle where the air intake scoop is. Check that line carefully you'll probably find something in there someplace.

The MOST LIKELY cause of an engine surging and refusing to idle is a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum line connections. You can also pinch rubber vacuum hoses off one at a time near the intake manifold to see if the engine idle changes, - don't forget to check the hose to the brake booster. If pinching off the booster hose fixes the running problem it is possible that the booster itself is leaking if you can't find any leak in the hose.

You can check for vacuum leaks at the intake manifolsd gaskets and throttle body base by squirting some carburetor cleaner around these areas. If you spray this into a vacuum leak area, you will hear a change in engine RPM.

Rancillio Expresso Machine won't pump water through. Makes lound noise.

Hi There are a couple of things. 1. Your pump is not primed. Open the steam knob and push the middle switch. 2. Your intake hose is pinched or not connected to the pump, or your intake hose is not in the water tank.

Heater will not switch to defroster orfloor just had a intake gasket installed then this problem started also wont switch to ac either

Your HVAC controls work off engine vacuum there is a vacuum hose that comes off the back of the intake plenum that is either off, kinked,or pinched.
